LOUISA EJAIFE
Louisa is the Managing Associte of the Firm and the Firm’s Head of Litigation and Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) practice groups.
Louisa is a Lawyer with close to a decade’s cognate experience in diverse areas of Law practice spanning through Litigation, Family and Probate Law, Criminal Litigation, Property Law, Commercial Law/transactions and Debt Recovery, including local and international Business to Business (B2B) as well as Business to Consumer (B2C) claims.
She is a graduate of the University of Benin and the Nigerian Law School. She holds proficiency certificates from the Nigerian Institute of Management (Chartered), Lagos Court of Arbitration (Certificates in International Arbitration and Construction Arbitration), Certificate on Introduction to General Data Protection Regulation from University College London (UCL), UCL Consultants and PA Consulting.
As the Head of the Litigation and ADR groups of the Firm, Louisa works closely with the Firm’s Senior Partner and straddles the Litigation and ADR teams. In her practice with the Firm, Louisa has advised and represented a wide range of local and international Clients on complex commercial disputes cutting across the various Courts of records in Nigeria.
Prior to joining E&P Legal, Louisa had gained vast experience in three other law firms in Nigeria as well as the Anambra State chapter of the Legal Aid Council of Nigeria. She is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association, Lagos Court of Arbitration and the Association of Young Arbitrators (AYA).
