DEBORAH KAYODE
Deborah is an Associate in the Firm and a member of the Firm’s Litigation, Alternative Dispute Resolution, International Debt Recovery and Corporate Commercial practice groups. She is a graduate of the University of Benin where she bagged her Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) with Honours and the Nigerian Law School, Lagos Campus.
She is an avid, competent and detail oriented Legal Practitioner and a great team player. Ever since joining the Firm, Deborah has provided high level services in Commercial Law, Real Estate, Probate, Debt Recovery and general Civil and Criminal Litigation. She has also appeared and represented a vast array of Clients before inferior and Superior Courts of records in Nigeria whilst recording successes before these Courts.
At E&P Legal, Deborah routinely advises local and foreign Clients on debt recovery options cutting across Business to Business (B2B) and Business to Customers (B2C) claims while also representing the interests of Clients in Courts on disputes emanating from transactions. As a team member of the Firms Corporate Advisory Group, Deborah also undertakes a sizeable amount of instructions relating to Corporate Documentation's and in the course of her engagements, she routinely interfaces with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) as well as other relevant agencies.
Deborah has advised a wide range of Clients including religious organizations, Limited Liability Companies and Non-Governmental Organizations (NGO's) and has been involved in top-notch transactions involving these entities.
Prior to joining E&P Legal, she had a brief stint of law practice at a foremost Commercial Law Firm in Osun State, Nigeria. Deborah is a graduate Chartered Public Manager at the Chartered Institute of Public Management of Nigeria (CIPM) and a member of the Nigerian Bar Association, Lagos Branch.
